KONE, leading global lift and Escalator Company, has declared about establishment of radically new technological platform KONE MaxiSpace IM, obviating a necessity of using the counterweight in lift equipment. The Innovation KONE allows installing the booths on the one third of greater sizes, than in traditional lifts with counterweight (under alike size of mine). Now KONE will be able to offer 6-or even 8-local lift where earlier could be installed booth only for 4 passengers. Aside from capacity, KONE MaxiSpace IM provides the increased comfort of passengers and comfort of access for users of wheelchairs and perambulators.
